Fuji X100.

Top View, Yashica GSN 35mm and Fuji X100.

Over the next few months I thought I would try some architect and street photography taking me outside my comfort zone. I already bought a Yashica GSN but I'm not good enough to use a film camera alone and wanted to get a digital to see the shot 's instantly until I get good enough to use the Yashica or any other film camera by its self. I wanted to get a smaller digital camera instead of using my DSLR. The camera I liked was the Fuji X100, its a fixed lens and I decided to go for a fixed lens is to get out of the habit of not carrying around loads of camera gear, lens, filters and all the other stuff in a bag. The fuji could fit in a big pocket or a small messenger bag with some extra batteries and cards. It also has APS-C sensor which can be found in older DSLR and this gives the camera sharp images. there are loads of reviews online so i wont go into too much detail. One other thing I like was that it had a view finder, optical and electronic. The other cameras I was looking at you would have to buy view finders to attach to them. 
I will post some test shots from the Fuji in the next week or so. 
The reason i thought about street is that i've been reading some very good online blogs, check them out they have some amazing photos.
