Using the TLR makes you think more about what you going to take, framing and composition, because it only holds 12 shots and there is no display to see what you've just taken.
I didn't want to spend much on film because I was unsure if the camera was working properly, I found online 5 rolls of 120 B&W Shanghai GP3 for £12 which I'm very happy with and pleased with the end results. The only problem with the film is that it is really curly and because I'm scanning the negatives its better for them to be flat. I found to stop them curling so much I put the negatives back round the developer reel the opposite way of the curl for a day or two and that stop most of the curl. If you've not used a TLR camera I fully recommend them they are fun to use and can produce some outstanding images.
